Life with the Canterbury Scholars

Here's a picture of my Bible study group - from left to right: Anne from Canada, Cedric from South Africa, Sule from Nigeria, and Bismark from Ghana.  This was our first study session together.  We were joined the next day by Bertin from the Congo...his travel delayed his arrival.  Our group had the good fortune of having the library as our meeting place.

Our first Thursday night at Canterbury we were treated to dinner at the Dean's house.  We started in the garden, but it was quite chilly, so several of us migrated indoors.  Notice the fantastic view of the cathedral from the garden...

Seems like every time we turn around, it's time to eat!  Ahh, but the power of breaking bread together.  This is where our best conversations took place.  See below for some shots of the refectory.
